Do we also bring
Flowers at a funeral?

There is a custom of bringing a single flower (for example, a rose or a lily) to the funeral and placing it near the coffin or urn.
There is a lot of compassion and comfort in this gesture.

hand them over personally
or have them delivered?

Since bereavement, and especially the day of the funeral, is associated with great physical and psychological stress, flowers are usually delivered by a florist to the bereaved before the funeral.
